  10.        This release note describes patch SG0000225 to IRIX 5.3.

  12.        1.1  _S_u_p_p_o_r_t_e_d__H_a_r_d_w_a_r_e__P_l_a_t_f_o_r_m_s

  14.        This patch contains bug fixes for systems with XS, XS24,
  15.        XS24Z, XZ, Elan and Extreme graphics configurations.  The
  16.        software cannot be installed on systems with other
  17.        configurations.

  21.        This patch contains bug fixes for IRIX 5.3.  The software

  26.        This patch contains fixes for the following bugs in IRIX
  27.        5.3.  Bug numbers from Silicon Graphics bug tracking system
  28.        are included for reference.

  30.           +o XS, XS24, XS24Z, XZ, Elan and Extreme graphics would
  31.             not correctly render textured polygons if a texture
  32.             environment used TV_MODULATE and lighting was not
  33.             enabled.  (Bug # 251462)

  35.           +o XS, XS24, XS24Z, XZ, Elan and Extreme graphics would
  36.             incorrectly render a textured polygon if a minification
  37.             filter using mipmapping was used and the polygon was
  38.             clipped against the top edge of a window or viewport.

  76.        Follow these steps to select a patch for installation:

  78.          1.  At the Inst>prompt, type

  86.          3.  Initiate the installation sequence. Type

  90.          4.  You may find that two patches have been marked as
  91.              incompatible.  If this occurs, you must deselect one
  92.              of the patches.

  104.        To remove a patch, use the _v_e_r_s_i_o_n_s _r_e_m_o_v_e command as you
  105.        would for any other software subsystem.  The removal process
  106.        reinstates the original version of software unless you have
  107.        specifically removed the patch history from your system.
